who the hell are you? (version: jess)

hello, hello!

as you might have divined from the title, i’m jess.  i live in nyc and am a recent graduate of bfa program in creative writing. (also known as the “what the hell kind of a job can you get with that?” degree. thanks, dad.)  i also read. a lot. 

hence, the purpose of this tumblr.  dev and i have each pledged to read a book a week in 2011 and to make good, we’re going to post about them here.  in the spirit of full disclosure, i should warn that the books i read are all over the map from ya novels to rock and roll autobiographies.  mostly, i read whatever strikes my fancy and usually something that’s inspiring and influencing what i’m writing at the moment.
